Protecting Women
I’m a father of two daughters. When I talk about protecting women’s health, I’m thinking about my girls, their future, and the kind of world they’ll grow up in. Preventing tragedy starts at home
Too often, gun violence starts with something preventable, such as a young person gaining access to an unsecured firearm at home. That’s why I was honored to speak at Advocacy Day with Moms Demand Action about my legislation, Bill 4738, the New Jersey Home Safety Act. This bill focuses on something simple but critical: safe and responsible firearm storage. Unmasking ICE
If Federal agents come to your door, you deserve to know who they are. We’ve been working on legislation to bring more transparency and accountability to how immigration enforcement is carried out in New Jersey and I’m proud to be part of that effort. New Jersey police officers work hard to gain the trust of the community, they don't need Federal agents working against them to instill distrust in our communities.
